Statements
As an organization that serves Korean adoptees, their families, and other individuals affected by adoption, including domestic and international transracial adoptees, we cannot be silent in the face of injustice. Silence is violence. And, it is antithetical to who we are as an organization. We stand in solidarity with #BlackLivesMatter, #Asians4BlackLives, and all those fighting for justice and those seeking justice against police brutality in all forms across the United States.

Korean adoptees are people of color and to pretend otherwise ignores the histories of the racialization of Asian and Asian Americans in the United States. We implore our white friends and families to take heed and listen to understand and take action.
